History:
The law firm of Mogel, Speidel, Bobb and Kershner has continuously served the greater Berks community for over 135 years as the area’s oldest law firm. Current shareholders are Frederick R. Mogel, Stephen H. Price, Sean J. O’Brien and Andrew S. George. Other firm members are Edwin H. Kershner and Gene M. Venzke. Mark E. Zimmer and Jennifer L. Grimes are associates. Harry W. Speidel, Alan S. Readinger, Gordon M. Mair, Kathryn K. Harenza, and Charles E. Fryer are Of Counsel.

2005 Summary:
Mogel, Speidel, Bobb and Kershner continued its presence in the community with local offices in Womelsdorf, Robesonia, Fleetwood and Boyertown in addition to its main Reading office. The growth of its client base and diversity of its clients was supported with the addition of two attorneys to the firm. In January, Charles Fryer joined the firm as Of Counsel. Mr. Fryer practices real estate law, is a title agent and his Boyertown title company became Mogel, Speidel, Bobb & Kershner Title Company. Jennifer Grimes joined the firm in May and practices in the areas of family and municipal law. Former shareholder Paul M. Yatron was elected to the Court of the Common Pleas of Berks County.

2006 Expectations:
Mogel, Speidel, Bobb and Kershner expects to continue to expand its client base in the greater Berks area. As of January, Andrew S. George became a shareholder of the firm. As of January, Gene M. Venzke joined the firm. Mr. Venzke practices business, real estate, zoning and estate law. County offices offer localized support and convenient hours, and the Boyertown office’s title company provides extended services. Locations: 520 Walnut St., Reading (main office); 130 W.
